The main role of this TEMP is to bring together students, teachers and volunteer from other institutions that are willing to contribute at raising students` awareness of recognition of the importance of science in everyday life. Drops of S.T.E.A.M. wants to reveal the big amount of pollution that we are responsible for and to find solutions that are near us but we don`t realize that. We will do this using both formal and non formal activities that are apart from the curricula used in both countries.
The element that makes us unique is the way we involve 11th grade students in the process of building technology that will help them improve their lives and reduce the Carbon Foot Print. All the partners will come with their know-how, will bring together their experience and thru a collaborative work our goal will be raising students` awareness of recognition of the importance of science in everyday life. The objectives of the project are related to the priorities since we aim at raising students' awareness of recognition of the importance of science in everyday life. It doesn’t stand apart. We would like our students to show their skills and creativity in the field of technology by preparing documentaries, with the use of IT tools.
Cross curricular and extracurricular activities will help us achieve the main goal of the project and that is improving the educational system both with formal and non formal approaches. The partnership aims are: raising the level of education using latest scientific techniques, guiding our students to improve critical thinking skills, strengthening sense of responsibility and friendship among students; equip students with skills of communication, cooperation, organization and national and transnational group work to enhance the team work skill; our project fosters creativity and teamwork.
Using our partners know-how in the process of developing awareness of recognition of the importance of Carbon Foot Print importance in everyday life.
